Focus on Mercury

Wednesday’s keynote address will be made by Dr. Jim Wiener, Distinguished Professor at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, and a partner with the National Park Service's contaminants monitoring program in the Great Lakes Network parks. Dr. Wiener will give an overview of current mercury research and then moderate a series of papers presented by others who are studying mercury in the environment. The individual presentations will be followed by a panel-style question-and-answer period. Six presenters have been invited.
