Science Museum of Minnesota

Curators and scientists actively engage in research in archaeology and ethnology, mammalogy and ornithology, aquatic biology, vertebrate and invertebrate paleontology, paleobotany, geology, and river and stream ecology and watershed biology. Its staff collaborates with organizations such as the Lee and Rose Warner Nature Center, the state's oldest outdoor environmental education facility, and with the St. Croix Watershed Research Station to provide cutting edge environmental technology and research. SMM's collections are worldwide in scope and number nearly 2 million objects.
