| Project Abstract: |
Michigan Technological University will continue with project-specific GIS support to Isle Royale National Park (ISRO) and Keweenaw National Historic Park (KEWE). Tech will update current GIS layers, providing maps for several different ISRO management plans, synthesizing data gathered during natural resource and cultural resource projects, and providing a facilities map for one of the developed areas in ISRO as a pilot project. Tech will collaborate with KEWE to develop a cultural resources base map for the Quincy Hill parcel layer. In addition, Tech will provide GIS training for NMPS staff at both ISRO and KEWE. |
