Project Abstract: The report will prepare a determination of eligibility to evaluate if the Mott Island Mission 66 New Dormitory (1964) and the Old Dormitory (1949-1950) are eligible to the National Register as a contributing structure of a potential historic district at Isle Royale National Park. The main focus of the study is to determine the National Register eligibility of the Dormitories within the context of the Mott Island Mission 66 headquarters redevelopment as a potential historic district. This will entail demonstrating whether the entire development has historic integrity and significance.
