| Project Abstract: |
Park staff, teachers, and MTU staff and students will identify future education programs and actions that should be implemented by Keeweenaw National Historical Park and area schools. This collaborative effort will take place during an intensive two-day teacher workshop. The results of the teacher workshop will be complied into a Long-Range Education Plan that is completed by an MTU graduate student and the Chief of Interpretation at Keeweenaw NHP. The plan will clearly outline how the local education communities and Keeweenaw NHP will work together toward establishing an implementing a park-wide education program. |
